MisterScotty (aka Scott Stuewe) is a Kansas City based singer songwriter with a mean right hand.  He's the 2014 Kansas State Fingerstyle Champion and writes powerful folk-rockabilly-swing songs that manage to sound at once familiar and like nothing else you have heard.  His guitar style evokes the rolling rhythm of the New Orleans music he learned to love and dance to in the early '90s.

This video was shot at my brother's land in Central Kansas.  The "Cabin" as we have called it all these years is where my family goes to unwind at the end of every year since about 1999.  I wrote a lot of the guitar parts of my songs out there, just playing in the woods 8 - 10 hours a day.  The recording is a part of my new project which I hope to have out this year.  I got Craig Lagerman and Michael Turnbo to play in Kelly Werts' studio on a few tracks.  My daughter Ilana Duby is the videographer on this one.  Joe Casad wrote these lyrics.
