MisterScotty and the Box of Rocks are a new and exciting ensemble of accomplished players with diverse musical roots.  A veteran songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist, a tasty funk guitarist who also plays banjo, a classically trained violinist and a country-swing/rockabilly bass player make these utterly original new songs swing.

This video was shot at my brother's land in Central Kansas.  The "Cabin" as we have called it all these years is where my family goes to unwind at the end of every year since about 1999.  I wrote a lot of the guitar parts of my songs out there, just playing in the woods 8 - 10 hours a day.  The recording is a part of my new project which I hope to have out this year.  I got Craig Lagerman and Michael Turnbo to play in Kelly Werts' studio on a few tracks.  My daughter Ilana Duby is the videographer on this one.  Joe Casad wrote these lyrics.
